Over the weekend, I injured my foot and booked to see a local doctor on Monday morning. I saw Dr Ian at 8am. The appointment barely lasted 5 minutes, he didn’t ask when the injury happened (it had been a day and he wrote on my X-Ray referral that it had been a week). He gave me an X-Ray referral and didn’t say anything about when I would hear back, what to expect or how I could manage the pain. I called on Tuesday afternoon and was told that I might hear back by the end of the week. I called again on Wednesday and was asked to call the X-Ray place myself to have scans sent through. The X-Ray place said they’d been sent through already but they’d send them again. I ended up booking with my regular GP and saw him this morning to discuss results and pain management. Luckily no breaks but it’s been a rough week. I never heard back from Telegraph Road Clinic and I’ll never be going back. I’m appalled by the lack of care and professionalism. It feels like I wasn’t treated as a patient but as a money grab.

I have been attending Telegraph Road Clinic for many years, I now travel up to an hour to see Dr Price and Dr Hackney. I am very comfortable with both am not feeling rushed and feel they listen to and act on any ailments or send for specialized treatments when needed. I don't recall waiting more than a few minutes past appointment times. Happy to recommend.

Attentive, caring doctors. Professional and friendly reception staff. But this might not be the clinic to visit for people who have sensory issues, as the waiting room can get very loud. This is compounded by the high volume of the large television, which I could still hear from the consulting room. To reiterate, I'm very happy with the care I have received here, but I'm not sure I could tolerate the waiting room again without earplugs or headphones.

I booked a check-up and immunisations for my 18 month old daughter via Hot Doc - the online booking platform hosted on their website. I booked on 7 September for an 8 September appointment. I received a cancellation email from Hot Doc and called the clinic at 10.15am 8 Sept. They mentioned it was cancelled as a nurse would have to be available to adminster the vaccinnations - fair enough. During this phone call, I asked for the next available appointment with our doctor at the clinic, in line with my partner's availability and the availibility of a nurse. This was booked for Thurs 14 Sept 11.15am. My partner and my mother presented to the clinic with my daughter at 11.15am Thurs 14 Sept to be told that there was no appointment booked, but they were free to wait or rebook. They received no apology. I called about 11.30am from work to ask to speak to the Practice Manager Elizabeth. They were unavailable so I left a message with Kierra. I'm yet to hear from the clinic. Really disappointing as we have just moved to Bracken Ridge, and my partner had reorganised his work schedule twice to be able to take her. We've since gone back to our old clinic at Castle Hill and will have to remain there. EDIT 11 Nov: in response to the Practice Manager’s response below. I left my details with the receptionist at the time I made a complaint and you never called back. You have, however, called me numerous times since this appointment to tell me I have a recall for this vaccination that has been carried out at another clinic. So you have my contact details. Very disappointing.
